I just read a news headline saying that the UK will name a part of
Antartica after the Queen!!! So I thought, aha, that's why the Brits
want to keep Malvinas so bad as to go to war with Argentina any time.

Cameron and those Eton boys are of course both schmucks and the
   sleazy type.

It is possible that an official given the portfolio which concerns
Latin America might be a suitable mouthpiece on Tibet because Downing
Street could dodge any formal protest from China if the UK has to, by
simply citing the fact that they don't have an office on such things
   as Tibetan affairs.

But the EU is said to be forming such an office. China cannot count
on the colonialists being nice to her. It has to do what it has to do
solve its own domestic problem. The UK is not going to send troops in
unless the United States has gotten Myanmar to "request" military
bases and troops located in it. Then it will be time for some kind of
   XYZ Spring.

I'm more worried about Myanmar's situation than anything the UK or the
   EU are doing right now.
