   All these countries you mentioned are White, European people.   
   Now, examine America's motive in the Vietnam War.   
   The Vietnamese were fighting for their independence from France.   
   America helped France to maintain their colonial power over the   
   Vietnamese.   
      
   With America's blood, money and power, Vietnam became independent   
   on its own merits.
