   With only 6 million people, Israel can not take on Syria, Jordan, and   
   by implication, Iran.   
   Because of Saudi Arabia's oil, the U.S. would not allow Israel's take   
   over of Saudi Arabia.   
      
   Israel is an island in the sea of Muslims.  There are a lot of   
   Israelis do not agree with   
   their national policies toward the Palestinians.  I don't see Israel   
   being a power in the Middle East.   
   Israel depends on the U.S. too much.
