   It is clear that political discussions about war and peace concern   
   all.  A bright shining example is the successful stoppage of Obama's   
   cruise missile war project against Syria.  Had the project gone ahead,   
   it would have been inconceivable that there would be enough political   
   will, strength, or capital left for the relevant parties to go to   
   Geneva and get the latest deal with Iran sealed on her uranium   
   enrichment program.  Indeed one can say that we are in fact reaping a   
   huge _peace dividend_ in the latter (in what the Washington Post   
   called "historic nuclear deal" between Iran and the world's current   
   powers) from our former accomplishment in Syria.   
      
   "Joy to the world, for peace hath come" has indeed come, ahead of   
   Christmas.
