Lame is the one who has no defense for his own ignorance and chooses
to hurl personal insults on your opponent!

Clearly you are wearing no clothes. You started talking about the
"huge amount of freedom" Hong Kong residents allegedly have. And now
that you know that you wouldn't want that "huge amount of freedom" for
yourself at the price of also living in a 6' by 2' dog cage (using one
report's headline attached below), then you talk about "your world".
The world you were talking about is a Hong Kong with, allegedly, a
"huge amount of freedom". Now you are trying to tell the people of
Hong Kong "to take charge of" their world, instead of blaming the CIA,
which is non sequitur because the CIA was only spending spare change
   on them.

But you should be ashamed of yourself for being so insensitive to the
plight of the impoverished masses who live in "cage homes". What can
they do? The law they have were negotiated by their former colonial
master who worked to create the most trouble for the people they left
behind. The former colonial master knew that there was a huge housing
problem. Yet they would insist that the landlords can do whatever
they please for the building they own. Not even our own capitalistic
society in America condones this kind of squalid housing condition.
But everywhere you look: India, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, the Gulf
States, and North Africa, you see the mischiefs of the Brits and the
French as their former colonial masters.

Hong Kong is no exception. It's easier said than done when you tell
people "to take charge of" their world.

Fortunately, Hong Kong represents only about one percent of the whole
Chinese population. And fortunately, the other 99% have taken solid
charge of of their own world. So, you condemn them because they don't
fit your stereotype nor your agenda.

For me, posting is never about trying to impress anybody. Posting for
me is to draw attention to injustice that exists, such as a war if
aggression or HK's metal cage phenomenon: one of the most egregiously
inhuman condition that I know of.

To ignore it while glorifying the intangibles like being able to carry
a sign and walk a few blocks in the HK financial district to vent off
your frustration against tourists from the mainland who are actually
spending money in your community and helping the local economy does
not speak well for your selective view of freedom. It reminds me of
the neocon speak of killing your husband and father and destroying
your home so that you can have some form of freedom they dictate to
you. But all you get for your freedom is to get a chance to cast a
vote for an ultimately corrupt puppet government and have a purple
thumb to show for it. See, in reality, women in Iraq are worse off
today than during Saddam Hussein's days. Likewise, life in Libya is
very much worse off today than in the days before the NATO planes came
and bombed out the once self-sufficient country.

The CIA, the NED, and ultimately the Establishment of this country
espouse a very selective, in fact, very selfish view of freedom that
means little to the people they target. The people who run the CIA,
the NED, and the Establishment wouldn't want to live in a 6' by 2'
metal cage for a single day; yet they are all too happy to let
hundreds of thousands others living in that kind of condition, for as
long as these pitiful people can be exploited to their own advantage.

I never talked about my own education background in these newsgroups.
If you have info about it, it is unauthorized. But since I never post
for the purpose of vanity, I would mind bearing the accusation that I
am "hugely unimpressive" in your eyes.

Likewise, just because you call everyone who does not speak in support
of your narrative a "crazy" does not make me one. What it does is it
reflects on your inability to sustain a rational argument and on your
desperation in choosing to pursue a course of ad hominem.

So, it is indeed a badge of honor for me to wear when I choose to
spread the information about the inhumanity of Hong Kong's human cage
condition, especially when I have emperical knowledge about the
subject and especially when people mindlessly yelp about the "huge
amount of freedom" residents of that city allegedly have when they
have little in reality. Of course, I understand that when the story
is off-message from what the Establishment wants the world to hear, I,
   the messenger get attacked.

Cage dogs of Hong Kong: The tragedy of tens of thousands living in 6ft

Hong Kong, one of the world's richest cities, is abuzz with a luxury
property boom that has seen homes exchanged for record sums.

But the wealth of the city has a darker side, with tens of thousands
priced out of housing altogether and forced to live in the most
   degrading conditions.

These pictures by British photographer Brian Cassey capture the misery
of people - some estimates put the figure as high as 100,000 - who are
