   The newsgroups to which you've been posting this story have nothing to   
   do with the police or the administration of the hospital that is   
   treating your mother. People interested in Cuba or Japan have no say   
   over what is happening in a Winnipeg hospital.   
      
   Contact your local media, your alderman, your provincial member of   
   Parliament, the ombudsman for health or whoever has responsibility for   
   hospitals in your province and ask THEM for help.   
      
   Most of the people in the newsgroups you've copied aren't even in   
   Canada, let alone Manitoba. I'm in Canada but I'm in Ontario and I don't   
   know anything about hospital administration in Manitoba. How do you   
   expect Americans, let alone Japanese, to help you with your problem?   
      
   What could YOU do for a Japanese, Cuba, or German having a problem   
   similar to yours? Answer: nothing.
