Afghanistan was ruled by great kings or maharajas not sectarian terrorist   
   jihadis who mix politics and religion. Freedom is not an American invention   
   but it is created by nature's God.   
      
   Until Afghans realize that individual freedom is in the soul of all human   
   beings and therefore what is good for the individual is good for the   
   collective there cannot be peace. The collective cannot determine the   
   individual by force (totalitarianism).
