When materialistic sectarian religion is not separated from government there   
   cannot be any real reform of government. Only universal nonsectarian religious   
   principles of truthfulness, austerity, charity, and cleanliness can enter   
   government.    
      
   In the Afghan constitution Islam is the official state religion however the   
   real danger is that religion is misused for political materialistic goals and   
   government is also misused for sectarian religious goals. Real religion   
   practices freedom of    
   religion and the separation of political power from sectarian materialistic   
   religion. Otherwise there will be corruption in both religion and government   
   with no possibility of real reforms in both. Thus the people are oppressed   
   helplessly with no end in    
   sight.
