   I suppose you came up with "fucknut" all by your pompous windbad   
   intellectual self?   
      
   Of course English had a big headstart with the British empire. But then came   
   America's computer industry and the internet and literally changed the world   
   in a single decade, the way they speak, the way they conduct business, the   
   way they shop...it's all because of those damn Yankees.  All of the Anglo   
   countries are properous democracies. These are some of the reasons why the   
   French are so jealous.   
      
   France passed a law making it illegal to use the word "e-mail". You're   
   supposed to use "courielle" but if you don't, Jacque Chirac will come to   
   your house and beat the crap out of you (for you that's a lot of beating).   
   But it hasn't worked. People still say e-mail. Look at any language. It is   
   filled with English words that have enetered the vocabulary only in the last   
   10 years.   
      
   France was culturally powerful a hundred years ago. Now it's not. They need   
   to get used to that fact. Hell! Napolean's empire lasted about the same as   
   the 12 years of the third Reich. Sounds to me like a lot of these European   
   empires are over rated.
