   	Not me or any of my friends. I purchased my own health   
   insurance through my former employer. You see, in the US, we do not   
   have taxes as high as in Europe, so we can afford to buy group health   
   insurance for ourselves. No bureaucrats needed to do it for us.

   	My definition of socialism is the same as Merriam-Webster's:   
      
   Main Entry: so·cial·ism   
   Pronunciation: 'sO-sh&-"li-z&m   
   Function: noun   
   1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating   
   collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means   
   of production and distribution of goods   
      
   	French collectivism and its nanny state status fits that   
   definition well. You need your government to take away most of your   
   money and then provide you with what you require. (And the government   
   bureaucrats pocket what is left.)
