XPost: soc.culture.india, soc.culture.iran, soc.culture.egypt       From: George@hemisphere.com              We are all primative people.       We are all raised in an individual culture, family, region or nation and       raised in certain traditional ways. Our family, friends,       teachers and clergymen live and speak the same culture. And to us primative,       becomes known as the truth. Think about it and digest it for a while.       If you were raised among Christians and taught about the Holy Bible, or if       you were a Jew you were raised among Jews and taught about the Torah. If you       were       a Muslim you were raised among Muslims and taught about the quaran. These       beliefs are carried out by numerous religions and each of those       numerous religions adherents believe in swear by and "know" without doubt       that their beliefs are the "real" messages from God or Gods.       If you were raised among Babism, Baha'I       Faith, Orthodox Baha'I Faith, Islam, Ahmadiyya, Kharijites, Nation of       Islam, Shiite, Alawites, Ismailis, Jafari, Zaiddiyah, Sunni, Berailvi,       Deobandi, Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliki, Mu'tazili, Shafi'I, Wahhabi, Sufism,       Bektashi, Zikri, Druzism, Judaism, Karaite Judaism, Rabbinic Judaism,       Orthodox Judaism, Haredi Judaism, Hassidic Judaism, Modern Orthodox       Juaism, Reform Judaism, Conservative Judaism, Reconstructionist       Judaism, Humanistic Judaism, Historical Sects, Hasmoneans Essenes,       Pharisees,       Sadducees, Zealots, Sicarii, Heretical Sects, Ebionites, Elkasites,       Nazarenes, Crypto-Jews, Marranos, Conversos, Frankists, Sabbatians,       Donmeh, Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism, Oriental Orthodoxy,       Nestorianism, Protestantism, Anabaptists, Anglicans, Baptists,       Lutherans, Methodists, Pentecostals, Calvinism, Presbyterian, Quakers,       Unitarians, Waldensians, Latter-day Saints, Church of Jesus Christ of       Latter-day Saints, Community of Christ, Fundamentalist Church of Jesus       Christ of Latter Day Saints, Seventh-day Adventist, Jehovah's       Witnesses, Samaritians, Mandaeanists, Rastafarians, Black Hebrews,       Hinduism, Javanese Hinduism, Shaivism, Shaktism, Smartism, Vaishnavism,       Gaudiya Vaishnavism, Hare Krishna, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission,       Samkhya, Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Purva mimamsa, Vedanta, Yoga, Buddhism,       Mahayana, Hinayana, Theravada, Vajrayana Tantric Buddhism, Jainism,       Digambara, Shvetambara, Sikhism, Ayyavazhi. Zoroastrianism. Magus,       Gnosticism, Basilidians, Bogomils, Borborites, Cainites, Carpocratians,       Cathars, Marcionisms, Ophites, Valentinians, Australian Aboriginal       Mythology, Balinese Mythology, Maori Mythology, Modekngei, Nauruan       Indigenous Religion, Polynesian Mythology, Church of All Worlds,       Dievturiba, Carvaka, Confucianism, Deism, Fellow of Reason, Spiritual       Humanism, Mohism, Taoism, Demonolatry, Dragon Rouge, Satanism, LaVeyan       Satanism, Church of Satan, Order of Nine Angels, Setianism, Temple of       Set, The Storm, Quimbanda, Ares Pilgrim Movement, Cao Dai, Falun Gong,       Huna, Konkokyo, Law of One, Manichaeism, Unitarian Universalism,       Universal Life Church, Tenrikyo, Theosophy, Seicho-No-le, Church of the       Universe, Peyotism, THC Ministry, Burkhanism, Cargo Cults, Ghost Dance,       Native American Church, Rastafari Movement, Umbanda, Candomble, Sai       Baba/Sathya Sai, Hare Krishna, Sant Mat, Swaminarayan, Meher Baba,       Subud, Ahmadi, Dances of Universal Peace, Black Muslims, Unification       Church, Jesus People, Chidren of God, People's Temple, Pentecostalism,       Iglesia ni Cristo, Soka Gakkar, Won Buddhism, Hoa Hoa, Friends of the       Western Buddhist Order, I-Kuan Tao, Chondogyo, Unification Church,       Nuwaubianism, The Aetherius Society, Raelism, or the Church of       Scientology-       You would defend, protect and sometimes die for or kill for those beliefs.       Is that not a sign that we are all relatively ignorant like any other       primative believer? And aren't we all trapped, in a way, in out own       ignorance by the fate of geography? Can you doubt that if you were raised       among Muslims in a Muslim family living and raised by the teachings of       the Quaran can you doubt that you would be a "true believer" and "know" the       "truth of Allah"? And you might, if you are a devotee of your religion,       participate in the suicide bombing of "non believers" all for the "sake of       Allah"? Ad what Jew doesn't know that their religion is the oldest and       thiers is the one true "best God" in the world? Or what Christian would       doubt the miracles of Jesus Christ "the son of God"?       At what time do us primatives wake up and advance civilization by realizing       we are trapped, often by geography, in our own beief system?       Is it not time, before we all kill each other, to realize that we are all       victims of a primative monstous, catastrophic path that is leading       to the destruction of civilization? How many years before rocket directed       nuclear missiles will be flying to places across the globe all for the sake       of "God" or "Allah" or"Jesus"?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
