   It appears not. Check out the bar chart in this story. Hungary is the only   
   EU country cited that has a majority of people wishing to admit Turkey. As   
   you can see, the populations of most countries are firmly against Turkey   
   becoming a member. Overall, only about 35% are in favor. The vocal minority   
   is clearly out to trample the silent majority. European democracy in action!
