   You'll be hard pressed to find any Americans eating French Fries that were   
   made in France. The potato is after all a new world vegetable.   
      
   France imports from the US almost as much as it exports but France is not a   
   major trading partner of the US. Canada is both the #1 import and export   
   partner of the US...keeping the cap'n in a job.
