   The whiners in the unions should be glad it's only 10,000 jobs. It should   
   have been 20,000. The other thing that's being missed here is the   
   redundancies are all coming from contract workers or people who are leaving   
   Airbus anyway. Those people just won't be replaced.   
      
   So what we are talking about is economic efficiencies that won't ever exist   
   really. Airbus will still be as bloated and bureaucratic as before.   
   Virtually no union guys will lose their jobs outright.
