   Stop sobbing uncontrolably cap,

It's a fake re-org. First off the numbers are half of what they were
supposed to be. Secondly, the cuts are over 4 years time.
Thirdly, the severed heads will roll from contractors, not employees. They
don't show up on the balance sheets the same as employees...and Airbust can
cleanly dump them. Most of the rest will come from natural attrition...most
likely buy outs to the old geezers who are near retirement anyway.

It's questionable as to just how much cost savings Airbust will gain.

2013 is optimistic for the A350. It's probably more like 2015. The order
book for A380s essentially hasn't moved in two years. It's at 166 right now.
They need to sell at least 420 to make any money. That number is probably
much higher by now. One thing Airbus is not talking about too much is the
fact that the A380 is obese and can't carry the previously stated number of
passengers. Also the A350 will cost 30% more than a 787 and be less fuel
   efficient.

About the only thing Airbust is selling are A320 single aisles. Right now
Boeing is a little behind on orders but virtually all of Boeing's sales are
for big profit wide bodies and virtually all of Airbust's sales are for the
   cheapy A320s.

Boeing needs to get off their butts and announce a composite 737. Boeing is
sold-out on some models and is actually turning customers away...or so they
say. First few years of 787 production is definitely sold out....and still
   on track for 2008 delivery.
The big problem for Boeing and the 787 is the lazy Italian workers.

Too bad about Boeing losing the Aeroflop order.
