For people that got degrees such as mine, thinking is good to keep the mind
sharp and alert.

learns as it executes a program. I worked on that as my first assignment at
Bellore.
The system was called T.R.A.C. for Tirks Records Accuracy Checker. It
compared the real world of in use, spare, or jumpered for various Cable and
facilities at what was called the wire centers. It was to learn to be less
costly to run the studies as it processed each study. The first study was a
given 25 locations each with 25 cables to check, and 25 facilities. Study
cost was about 10 million dollars. The program adjusted those numbers
by the results of accuracy of the data records to what was really found.
Over time it would go down in cost to less than $500,000. It learned from
the experiences and built new desission trees.
