   I think the optics create that impression easily.  However the mainstream   
   media would kill their own mothers to get a story on the level of a   
   watergate, thereby destroying the administration.   
      
   While there is no doubt various mainstream media outlets shamelessly wear   
   their biases on their sleeves they would all report a verifiable story no   
   matter how damning.

   My German father (his house was bombed on his seventh birthday) would agree   
   completely with you.  Germans know far too well what war can do to a   
   country.

   Chalk it up to a difference between American's and German's. America is   
   engaging in a proactive foriegn policy with first strike options being made   
   available, in stark contrast to the Clinton Administration. The only way to   
   gauge its success on the American people is to see if the guy gets elected,   
   and at this point it isn't looking good.
