   Well since this is a friendly discussion (one thats hard to find between   
   Americans and Europeans these days).... I think I might jump on board....   
   There are a couple of questions (not to be taken the wrong way, just serious   
   curiosity questions) .... When I for instance look at the threat of   
   Islamists.... I look around the world and see places like Phillipines ,   
   Sudan , Indonesia etc etc where there are alot of terrorists activities   
   going on. Taken as a whole there is (at least to me ) a big problem with   
   Islamists wanting to set up their own little nation states (where there   
   Islamic law rules) ... I am not familiar with German media but how are these   
   stories presented (if at all ) to Germans? Do Germans (in general) believe   
   there is an Islamic threat around the globe?  also I came across this story   
   and have posted it here but I will do it again.... Could you please read and   
   give an opinion as a German whether or not the article has any truth to it?
