   We also are getting closer to creating machines capable of artificial   
   general Intelligence — that is, machines as intelligent as humans. We   
   may never get all of the way to actual consciousness, but in terms of   
   processing power, inference, metaphor and even acquired wisdom, it is   
   easy to imagine AI surpassing humanity.
