   Would he have gone to school in the highlands? The furthest north I have   
   ever been in Scotland when I lived there was Aberdeen. I had also been to   
   Ayr and Loch Lomond and many places in Fife like St. Andrews on a school bus   
   trip when I lived in Scotland. On visits later after I left Scotland, I went   
   to Loch Ness and Inverness with a friend and the scenery there is really   
   quite beautiful and very different from other parts of Scotland which are   
   more flat and not as rugged but various areas in Scotland all have their own   
   beauty and charm. I believe you originate from further north than   
   Inverness?.
