Birds always seem to manage to get food somewhere and start new generations.

I've never been to Ireland. Where is Co Armagh? My grandfather (mother's
father) was born in Ballymena, N. Ireland and moved to Scotland as a young
man and married my Scottish grandmother. I never knew him as he died before
I was born. He was our only relative not born in Scotland. My mother and
father's side were Scottish and went back many generations to the 1700's and
probably beyond. My father was born in Argyll. I did some genealogy a while
ago to see how far back my Irish grandfather's ancestry went in Ireland, and
found out the name of his mother and father, both born in Ballymena but
that's as far as I got.

In Toronto, spring won't be here for a while. Feb. is always a cold month
but this year, its been freezing every day and only one more day to go
before Feb. ends. Maybe it will be spring after that. In the summer here,
its very hot, so I don't mind the winter though it gets tedious. Not a lot
of snow so far, but extremely cold winds.
