   Absolutely there is.  It would be astonishing if there weren't.  If you   
   want to search for more information on the subject, search for   
   "Y-chromosomal Adam".  He lived a few hundred thousand years ago,   
   probably making him a bit earlier than "Mitochondrial Eve".
