   Around ten years ago I was inundated with a flood of abuse, "can't   
   deliver" and suchlike because someone had set my address in a junk mail   
   bot. I do not know if the address was harvested from Usenet, but it   
   seemed a reasonable precaution to hide the address.   
      
   In the end I had to change the address!
