   Thank you for the updates here regarding pre 1800 activity of your family.   
    I am currently doing some research for the Govt of Antigua and Barbuda (Dept   
   of Environment) regarding the early environmental attributes and sociocultural   
   aspects of Barbudan history and heritage. You would be interested to know that   
   the Codringtons    
   are fondly remembered by Barbudans. there has been substantive archaeological   
   work done on the ruins of the castle (foundations only, located in the village   
   of Codrington) and Highlands House,  to the NE.
