   I'd agree. I was going to say definite on the "From" (even though I   
   can't find another lower-case m), not sure about the "birth" - looks   
   more like birtto, which could be a disease as cause (like polio); but   
   looking at "Highworth", the writer _does_ get a bit enthusiastic with a   
   loop on a final h, and also with the cross on his ts (three out of four   
   "Wilts"s cross the l too, so that probably _is_ an h) so indeed "birth".
