   It's indexed on Ancestry as John Roger [no 's'] of Newport, Suthton.   
   The old-style reference, which is a bit easier to look up in Ancestry is   
   PCC 206 Brent.   
      
   I've done quite a bit of research into the Rogers families in the gentry   
   around the south coast.  Do you know whether this man or the   
   same-surnamed family you are researching are related to the Rogers   
   families from Poole, Bryanston or Bridport in Dorset; from Freefolk,   
   Mapledurham or Dibden in Hampshire; from Bradford in Wiltshire; from   
   Benham Valence or Lambourne in Berkshire; or from Sutton Valence in Kent?
