   The surname Lammas can be spelt 47 different ways. The Lammas originated in   
   Spain and then went to the UK and now are all over the world. In New Zealand   
   there is a large number. History says that any Lammas in the world are related   
   and is the largest    
   family worldwide. I know this as we are researching the Lammas family, not an   
   easy job.
