   As has been suggested, filter and / or ignore.   
      
   But do not reply to them.   
      
   Often a SPAM message is filtered by the newsreader then a whole series   
   of people reply to it or pass silly comments, each time quoting the   
   whole or most of the message.  This is then sometimes not picked up by   
   the filters.
