|    Marriage Yorkshire 1724 - where?    |

From: sbunter@hotmail.com              I am trying to trace the origins of Jonas GOTT who married Martha RHODES 1724.       What is puzzling me is that the marriage is coming up online as Saxton in       Elmet (although possibly not in the PRs if TheGenealogist has transcriptions       as claimed) and perhaps an original LDS transcription error?       The marriage is in the Ripon Cathedral registers stating he is of Leathly       (original seen).       The marriage is also recorded in the Keighley registers as       Jonas Gott & Ma: Rhodes Certificate to Ripon 09 Aug 1724       (transcript seen)       If anyone can add any relevant comments that would be appreciated,       thanks,       Sharon              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
