John Burgess Karslake, one of my great^4       grandfathers, who survived a fire in his house in South Molton in       1748/9 a few hours after he was born, in which both his parents and two       brothers died. He was saved by his nurse, who tied him up in her apron       and jumped out of a window. I haven't seen it, but I believe there is a       memorial plaque in the church.              --       athel              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
