The birth entry there       has five census sources so it is possible it is an error in one of those       (Ancestry did, and possibly still does, have problems generating wrong        counties from district/town names). The family tree has Liscard/Liskeard       in Cornwall for all entries.              Unfortunately it looks as though the family tree may have the wrong        Emma, due to insufficient confirmation.              GRO gives       EDE, EMMA (Mother's Maiden Surname:) SANDERCOCK       GRO Reference: 1859 M Quarter in LISKEARD Volume 05C Page 94        EDE, EMMA JANE TRESIDDER       GRO Reference: 1859 S Quarter in LISKEARD Volume 05C Page 68        EDE, EMMA JANE RUSSEL       GRO Reference: 1860 M Quarter in LISKEARD Volume 05C Page 82              So it is back to the marriage certificate to find the father's first        name and then his wife.              The other Ede fathers were John (marr Tresidder) and either Thomas or        John George (who both marr Russel)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
