From: onlyme101@btinternet.com              I received an email today saying that Ancestry are removing the folders on       the Message Centre page. Yet another backwards step!       I'm sure others, like me, get messages from various contacts and it's the       best way to keep them in some sort of order. I presume that in future they       will only be saved in the way that Ancestry wants us to have them. Some       years ago, we used to be able to create on the home page, "favourite links"       to records that we used frequently. That went!       It seems that if it is useful, then they remove it to add something else.       Does anyone else feel that Ancestry is moving away from its original concept       of genealogy, i.e. searching and recording?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
