At the bottom of this page describing the new Messaging
   https://support.ancestry.co.uk/s/article/Messaging-on-Ancestry
   it says:
It's not currently possible to create folders in the new messaging
center, but you can download folders you already created to your
computer. You can download folders until 31 August, 2020.

So it seems there might be folders added at some time in the future (?)
but in the meantime they are giving you the option of downloading your
   current folders.

Possibly you will be able to restore them in the future?

I don't have that option yet but will certainly do so once it appears on the
   page.
