|    Searching wills in Family Search    |

From: onlyme101@btinternet.com              I am afraid I'm calling on my helpful colleagues once more for guidance!              I have finally worked out how to find NCC wills in Family search using the       information from the Norfolk (UK) records office NROCAT.       I am now trying to suss out the ANW wills (Archdeacony of Norwich). Using       the following examples,              Newgate Alice. 1624 ANW 22/3/11 What does the 22/3/11 mean?              Newgate Robert 1545-1551 ANW, will register, Aleyn, fo 68 I       know Aleyn is the name of the first entry in the book but would, for       example, Aleyn in the NCC wills and Aleyn in the ANW wills give me the same       film number in FamilySearch or are they different? I have a look-up list       relating name (e.g. Aleyn), to the Volume number and FHL Film number for       NCC and wondered if this also would apply to ANW or is this different?              I hope I have expressed this clearly enough.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
