From: mills37.fslife@gmail.com              Is anybody researching the Curtis-Bennet family - three generations of       prominent barristers in London from the late 19th century to the middle       of the 20th century?              I'm particularly interested in Lady Lilian Mary Curtis-Bennett (nee       Jeffries), the second wife and widow of Sir Henry Honywood Curtis-Bennett.              After she became a widow in 1936, she settled in Bourton-on-the-Water in       Gloucestershire, where she lived until she died in 1972. She is one of       several prominent residents of Bourton - none of them related to me -       who I'm currently researching. I know a fair bit about her, and knew her       personally - in my capacity as the youth who delivered her evening       newspaper. Nevertheless, I have a lot of unanswered questions, and would       be interested in comparing notes with anyone else who knows anything       about her.       --       Cheers,       Roger              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
