   You are giving him a lot of power over your life that he does not   
   have.  He's one man, a professor in computer science, not the   
   government.   
      
   As far as trying to scare their families, I rather doubt that he   
   contacts anyone personally.  If his website scares them, then   
   they should probably not read it.
