   The Constitution says nothing about individuals *persecuting*   
   religions,  Barbara.  It only prevents the government from doing   
   so.   
      
   Besides, you cannot *persecute* a religion, you can only *persecute*   
   people.   
      
   The definition of persecute is to cause to suffer and you cannot   
   cause a religion as a whole to suffer.
