   Hi,   
   I don't come from USA but I know that University of California - Berkeley is   
   very good. For egzample  Prof. Daniel McFadden is awarded Nobel Prize in   
   2000. He teaches econoimics and econometrics. See his page:

   Also prof. Kenneth Train is very well known.   
      
   I wonder, but you should know that Princeton is good. There many scientists   
   were awarded Nobel Prize e.g. D. Kahnemann.
