   Yes.  The Master's in Canada seems to be a more common designation, rather   
   than the "booby prize" for people who wash out of PhD programs (as it   
   appears to be in the US).   
      
   I was told that Queen's and U of Toronto were particularly good (but I   
   don't know for what, really :).  SFU has particular strength in Financial   
   Economics (they say).
