   Interesting theory. Seems to me that there's congestion in lots of   
   places both in and out of favor. I usually experience congestion at the   
   405/101 freeway exchange. I don't want to be there. My origin and   
   destination are 40 and 70 miles respectively on either side.

   In some cases yes, you are correct. Taxes in cities are higher in part   
   because city dwellers demand/expect higer levels of service. It is   
   still higher taxation regardless of the underlying causes.
