   What are you going to do with your Ph.D.   
   once you have it?   
      
   Some possible directions for an answer:   
   1.) I want to make a career in academia,   
        teaching and/or doing research at a   
        college/university.   
   2.) I want to work in industry as a.....   
   3.) I want to return to my country to   
        contribute in the field of....   
   4.) Any or all of the above.......
