   FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - One person is dead and another is injured after   
   a shooting on Kentucky State University’s campus Tuesday.   
      
   Officials with the Frankfort Police Department said they received a   
   report of an active aggressor on KSU’s campus at 3:10 p.m. Officers were   
   on scene by 3:14 p.m.   
      
   Kentucky State University confirmed that two students were shot. One of   
   the students has died and the other is in stable but critical condition   
   and receiving medical care.   
      
   The Franklin County Coroner’s Office says the victim who died has been   
   identified as 19-year-old KSU student De’Jon Darrell Fox, Jr. of   
   Indianapolis.   
      
   An autopsy was performed on Wednesday morning, with the final results   
   being available 14 to 16 weeks. This is an ongoing investigation by the   
   Frankfort City Police Department and the Franklin County Coroner’s   
   Office. There are no further details at this time.   
      
   A GoFundMe has been started to raise money for De’Jon Fox’s family.   
      
   A university official confirmed to WKYT that the shooting happened in   
   the area of south campus.   
      
   Frankfort Police report that a suspect is in custody and is not a KSU   
   student.

   Jacob Lee Bard(WKYT)   
   The suspect has been identified as 48-year-old Jacob Lee Bard of   
   Evansville, Indiana. He is charged with murder and first-degree assault.   
      
   Police say Bard is the parent of a KSU student.   
      
   According to his arrest citation, Bard “was involved in a physical   
   altercation on the Kentucky State University campus. During the   
   incident, the subject produced a handgun and shot two other   
   individuals.”   
      
   He is set to appear in court for an arraignment hearing Thursday   
   morning.   
      
   Kentucky State Police, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau   
   of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Kentucky Homeland   
   Security were all on scene.
