Mike! My dear friend. Lovely to see you again. And thanks for the
clear explanation. Six-year-old is definitely my level and I thank you
for it. (The Wiki article also manages to keep it simple without
talking down to the reader - thanks)

I'm mostly lurking these days because I don't often find conversations
I want to join. Though I did stick my oar in the other during a
discussion about Canadian Folk Music.[1] Come to think of it, I don't
   often see you there either...

   Nick
[1]I just love the whole Canadian attitude to folk and country music -
and not only since I've become a regular visitor now my son has gained
Canadian citizenship and is raising his family there.

Back in the lockdown days of the pandemic, I was locked down for eight
months in Argentina. Okay, so compared with many others, our lockdown
wasn't compounded by tragedy and I was locked down with the very
person I would have hoped to be locked down with but it was still a
   lockdown.

Then I discovered that the people of St Johns NL had decided to hold
their regular Folk Festival on line. Every week they broadcast an hour
or two on their YouTube channel. It was a real focal point in my week
and I still feel grateful for a couple of hours each week of
   normality.

But how could such a tiny city as St Johns have so many, so talented
musicians, singers and dancers? I guess because the music is infused
right through the community and I love it all the more for that.
