   Justine, Martin was my mother's first cousin.  My grandmother, Kate Flaherty   
   and Martin's mother, Margaret, were sisters.  Have seen interesting stuff on   
   internet for Martin's brother, Fr. James Thornton, SJ. Not sure if you are   
   related through Thornton
