Actually Catherine Martina Ann Connolly became elected to be a president
of a country in Ireland.

According to the oath of office/declaration, the first duty of the
President is to “maintain the Constitution”.
The President is also appointed as Commander-in-Chief of the Defense
Forces.

is not adjudicated in a court, but only by the unanimity of the
belligerents, and in the case of the RUW, there is no such unanimity,
therefore Ireland IS a participant in the war.
Dail Eireann has not given explicit assent to participation in the war,
therefore DF participation in it is unconstitutional.
The President could ignore the Government advice and order the DF to
cease all cooperation with NATO and Ukrainian Armed Forces in relation to
the conflict pending a formal declaration of war or equivalent explicit
assent by Dail Eireann to participation in it."
