   I guess poisoning and assassination of people makes one pretty much   
   paranoid, whether it was a direct order or "the sin in members" (things   
   that happen despite our best efforts to prevent them).   
      
   However, confession can remedy that. Not without a price.   
      
   Psalmist David had done a very devious plan and had his best soldier   
   Uriah murdered at the hand of the enemy to get hold of his charming wife   
   (though he could have the best virgins in Israel at his command).   
      
   But this did not pass before the LORD and His prophet Natan. However,   
   unlike the other kings, David did not dare to raise his hand on Natan   
   the prophet, but he chose to confess his fault instead.   
      
   And he found forgiveness. If he did not do that, we would never read   
   his Psalms today as encouragement in faith.   
      
   Psalm 32   
   4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me;   
      My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer.   
   Selah.   
      
   5 I acknowledged my sin to You,   
            And my iniquity I did not hide;   
            I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”;   
            And You forgave the guilt of my sin.
