|    Re: Confession is Good for the Soul    |

From: andronicus451@gmail.com              Eventually, one can choose between the faith that saves and the dead and empty       religion that will eventually give you only child baptism and the last rites.              But to really give birth to a holy nation in Christ, one needs to unload the       burden       of sins and crimes at the cross of Calvary (Golgotha).              Deny Satan and the Beast and accept Lord Jesus as Saviour and Redeemer       of your sins. As Jesus is "the author and the finisher of our faith" (Hebrews       12:2),       it is His responsibility to complete it until the Day as long as we deny Him.       For if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for He cannot deny the Faith,       Himself       (2 Timothy 2:13). We are supposed to implement His commandment and statutes       and moral principles in our lives, in order not to remain fruitless and       spiritually       dead.              I am confident that the Kingdom of Heaven will not start with a purge,       genocide,       or witch hunt. It had all been tried and failed miserably.              I admire the Russian people for Russia is serious. If they lie, they do it       convincingly       and convinced. If they tell the truth, they die for it in Siberian gulags.              Errare humanum est. Even in the West, now a cult of inerrancy of commercial       leaderships is in power, and a notion that admitting error is somehow a sign of       weakness. But considering the enemy's backlash, it takes courage to admit error       or confess sin. It is no longer just going to the priest and confessing       "Father, forgive       me for I have sinned!" For it is not the man (priest) who gives absolution,       but the Man       who died on the cross for the sin.              However, God had promised to forgive us sins we confess for He is faithful and       just (1 John 1:9). This isn't always going straightforward and without the       resistance       of the motivated adversary. For we know the intentions of the Enemy of our       souls.       The sins involving Satan and Satan's possession can also be forgiven by the       grace       of God and the blood of the Lamb of God who died on the cross.              The good news is that all is already forgiven. The Lamb of God died for the       sins       of the world (John 1:29). The quality and intensity of His suffering on the       cross was       far above what a mortal man can endure or imagine.              Concealing errors brings bad luck (Proverbs 28:13) and it can make a system       paranoid about its errors being discovered, and murderous about those who dare       to do it. The solution is simple: confess it, admit it, and you will see that       it wasn't       that bad. Fear is the enemy.              As the sins of the "Christian nations" have increased and enlarged, the grace       of God       had to increase as well to save anyone at all (Romans 5:20), or even the       righteous       would perish with the wicked. But forgiveness doesn't come easy, it is like       for a man       who is indebted in debt slavery. If he continues to irresponsibly spend on       luxuries       and pleasures after his debt is cancelled, he will soon end up in the same or       worse       circumstances.              The Law of God allows for the provision to make amends for fathers. This is       something       that is still preserved in many cultures, and it should not be considered as a       burden       but an opportunity (Job 20:10).              Confessing mistakes and errors is not weak, it is wise and prudent, and       sometimes       an inevitable step and phase in a birth of new future and hope. It's never too       late,       until man is dead and gone.              in the Lord       Amen              Proverbs 28:13       He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and       forsaketh them       shall have mercy.              1 John 1:9       If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to       cleanse us       from all unrighteousness.              Hebrews 12:2       Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that       was       set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the       right hand of the throne of God.              2 Timothy 2:13       If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.              Romans 5:20       Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin       abounded,       grace did much more abound.              Job 20:10       His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their       goods.              Leviticus 26:43       and they shall make amends for their iniquity, because they spurned my rules       and       their soul abhorred my statutes.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
