|    The Daily Purge: Cleaning The Cup From I    |
|    10 Sep 23 05:55:24    |
From: andronicus451@gmail.com              Matthew 23       25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye make clean       the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of       extortion       and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the       cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.              27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are like unto       whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full       of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly       appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.              * * *              You have denied Satan the Devil, recognised One God as Creator,       and the Lord Jesus Christ as you Saviour. Good job! But sadly, not enough ...       Or fortunately, not enough, or the spiritual way would be very scarce       and depleted!              OK, you say: "I am spiritual by myself and by my spiritual ancestry,       I need no Holy Bible, no Qur'an, no Bhagavad Gita, no Vedas, no       ancient scrolls from the Dead Sea ... I will simply go on and do my       best, if I make a mistake, I will learn from my error and become a       better person. I need no greedy priest, rabbi, imam or guru. I know       better than them, because I am not greedy at all!"              However, learning from errors has several drawbacks. Simply, trying out       all the limitless combinations takes too long, and life is too short.       The wrong choices outnumber the good ones - there are dozens       of ways more to do the wrong thing than the right thing, whenever       we are in the position to choose!              Trying some combinations end up badly and irreversible: i.e. some       girls want to model, but end up selling their virginity for a video.       Even if not, the temptations for a "material girl" are way too many,       and most of them end up as a concubine to some oligarch or       person in power who wants such beauty for himself, and in power       of his money.              Another obvious mistake we cannot correct is a murder or - abortion.       No girl or woman can rectify this mistake and bring an aborted       child back to life! Therefore this is a deadly, mortal mistake (sin).              I feel like I'm losing you now, but Jesus spoke of the Pharisees       as of white-painted sepulchres. This is the image of the modern       girl with beautiful clothes and perfect makeup, but in her heart she       hides the number of boys she betrayed ever since her youth and       the number of little dead corpses that were an unwanted byproduct       of her yearned unlimited sexual freedom.              Trial and error won't fix that!              We are defenceless against our crimes of the past, and the Universe       (Cosmos) condemns us justly!              Woe to us! Woe to those pretty beauties on catwalks!              But before your past creeps up on you, and it will, in this life or in the       next,       for all debts will be accounted for ... there was a Man who loved Mary       Magdalene and would go on the cross of Golgotha for her alone.              But we have to accept him as our personal Saviour to give him       legitimate permission to do that.              We also have to confess our faults. The good news is that murder       can be forgiven if we repent and hold fast never to repeat it, like       Moses, David and Paul had. But their repentance was expensive:       none of them got two Hail Marys as the penance. David describes       unbelievers "eating his flesh" (David conspired to murder by proxy       of the Amonites of his best soldier Uriah Hittite to get hold of his       beautiful wife Bat Sheba).              As a consequence and by his own verdict, and over time David had       lost four sons as a consequence of his sinful deed: the child       conceived with Bat Sheba, his firstborn who defiled the sister of       his other son Absolom, Absolom himself in a rebellion and finally       Adoniah, who was executed during the conflict for succession       of the Israel's throne.              But he remained the elected king and the promise of Messiah coming       from his bloodline was irrevocable - only the threat of the sword was       never removed from his offspring, even the very just ones as Josiah who       died at the battlefield of Megiddo (2 Chronicles 35).              One of the most notable errors that cannot be corrected on our own       is allowing a certain weapon that seems like a more heavy and effective       armour-piercing shell because its radioactive half-life is 4.5 billion       years, but its other ways of toxicity on the (non-combatant)       pregnant women and infants in the womb proved teratogenic, gruesome,       and disastrous.              However, God promised to cleanse us from all consequences of our       errors - and that includes rape, murder and abortion.              As it is written:              James 5:16       Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may       be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.              1 John 1:9       If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and       to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.              Psalm 32:5       I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said,       I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD;       and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.              Psalm 51       2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.       3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.       4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight:       that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest,       and be clear when thou judgest.       5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.       6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:       and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.       7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:       wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.       8 Make me to hear joy and gladness;       that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.       9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.       10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.       11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.       12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free       spirit.       13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways;       and sinners shall be converted unto thee.              14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation:       and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.       15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.       16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it:       thou delightest not in burnt offering.       17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:       a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.       18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.              [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
