   What is obvious now is that the Gaza strip needs the water supply,   
   the food supply, the electricity supply and the optic Internet cable   
   that Israel could not cut. Those who have modest knowledge of   
   geography will realise that the only route is South through Egypt.   
   This is a tough engineering challenge, but also an opportunity   
   for Islamic solidarity.   
      
   Obviously, from the reports in the field, Israel is targeting the   
   Palestianian civilians who had no say in the Hamas decisions and   
   the assault on the Israeli ones.   
      
   While there is an obvious need for the political independence   
   and Sovereignty of the Independent Palestine in the Gaza Strip and   
   the West Bank with the Israeli settlers displaced according to the   
   Camp David agreement (or reintegrated into Palestinian society).   
      
   Right now the priority would be to defuse tensions and give time   
   for the hostage crisis negotiators with an immediate ceasefire.   
      
   An international investigation should independently check Israeli   
   claims of the torture, murder and rape of the Israeli civilians on   
   behalf of the Hamas group.   
      
   But the life support for the Gaza Strip should be permanently   
   removed from their blood enemies who might again cut it as they   
   see fit.
