   Deuteronomy 24:19   
   When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot   
   a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it:   
   it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow:   
   that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

   Here in this verse we see that in Hebrews compassion for widows and   
   orphans who had no fault of their own did not come naturally. Left by   
   themselves,   
   Hebrews would pick up every last grain and every last penny of debt,   
   leaving the orphans, the widows and the foreigners to starve or beg.   
   Thereof Moses gave this Commandment (by the supernatural ordinance of   
   the holy angels).   
      
   But it also confirms from the Exodus and the beginning it was the LORD's   
   intention that foreigners living among Israelites and Hebrews are treated   
   as "neighbours", and loved as one loves themselves, which was later   
   confirmed with Samaritan woman who also respected Jacob as father   
   near his well and believed in the same One God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob   
   (John 4:12).
